This isn't about our family, or Down syndrome. But this is weighing heavy on my heart. A dear friend is the mother of this handsome 7 year old. Just a few days ago they found out he has a very rare form of a brain tumor called DIPG. The tumor is IN his brain stem and inoperable. The doctors say he has a 0% chance of survival. Radiation can prolong his life but he will lose his ability to talk, walk, eat etc. As a mother, this shattered my heart into a million pieces. But they are a wonderful and positive family who believe in the power of prayer. I too believe in miracles and strength in numbers. Please remember the St. Clair in your thoughts and prayers.
