Woohoo! This Saturday is World Down Syndrome Day. I absolutely LOVE that there is an entire day where the whole world is called upon to celebrate and spread awareness about those with Down syndrome. How cool is that? And how cool are these beautiful individuals with DS around us? So let's hang some streamer and give them some love! ;)
I was moved to tears a few weeks ago when my friend Annalisa, from Oilo, approached me with the idea of getting nine companies together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day. She reached out to these companies and asked if they would be interested in spreading awareness that Down syndrome is a true blessing and beauty. All of these companies jumped at the chance! How touching to a young mother who wants nothing more than to share the beauty of her son with the world. And on this special day? So crazy exciting!
These brands; Oilo, Petunia Picklebottom, Stokke, Bannor Toys, The TomKat Studio, Shabby Apple, Blabla Kids, childHOODS and IvoryKate are all giving product for a massive giveaway in the name of celebrating individuals with Down syndrome.
