Ellery's Birthday

Happy birthday sweet Ellery!  This darling little girl was born less than a month before Welles. Her parents happen to be some of our dearest friends.

They were among the first to visit us in the NICU after Welles arrived.  If I'm being honest, it stung when they came to meet Welles with their perfectly healthy little Ellery in her car seat.  She was just like the baby we were supposed to have.  How little I knew.  To think, that was less than a year ago!

I have a feeling these two will be the best of friends.  I picture Ellery taking Welles to his school dances and including him at all of her future birthday parties!  No pressure Ellery, but yeah, pressures on ;)
