Zoo keeping

Zoo keeping

It's crazy town over here!  A literal circus act in my very own home.  There is not a moment of silence from sun up to sun down.  Like I said, crazy town. If you know me, you know that my three sisters are my very best friends.  My nieces and nephews are like my own kids.  I love them all unconditionally.  So when my older sister (the only one who lives long distance) asked if she and her kidlets could come hang out for a few weeks, I jumped for joy and said "absa-freakin-loutly!"  And it's been a constant party since they arrived.

Big sister has three kids of her own, younger sister has two (who has been here lots), plus my two and we've got a whopping total of seven kids, ages four and under!  Welcome to the land of toddlers.  If baby sister could add to the equation, we could probably have our own reality TV show centered around play dates.  I mean, these kids are pure entertainment.  And the moms trying to be fun and hip by having dance contests while being starred down by three-year-olds, would be the cherry on top.

It's been a blast.  If I'm being honest, there have been some tears over sharing, hitting and a little scratching.  But mostly it's been laughter and cousin bonding around here.  If I had it my way, we would all live in a compound together with a huge yard, house cleaner and giant play ground with a "mommy deck" where we could sip on Diet Coke and eat pop corn while watching our beloved circus act toddlers.  A girl can dream, right?

Oh and to keep things even more interesting, we found a birds nest in the BBQ.  Now that we have have animals in the picture, it's officially the zoo.

As girly as they come....
