Owlet Smart Sock
After weeks of being in the NICU with Welles on Oxygen, I swear I watched his every breath as he slept at home. I would stare as his chest moved up and down making myself insane, not to mention, delirious. That awful noise of oxygen and heart monitors went off in my head multiple times a night, causing me to wake up, after finally falling asleep, to again watch his chest. Repeat, repeat. All NICU moms know exactly what I'm talking about. What I would have given to have a monitor like the one Ames has, back then! This monitor by owlet is seriously amazing and I'm not even getting paid loads of money to tell you that! I mean it, this thing is awesome. It's super user friendly, even for me, who only knows how to check my email and write blog posts. ;) All you do is slip on the little sock (there are multiple fits), turn on the monitor, download the app and sync. Then you're good to rest easy. ;)
Look at the pics below. Welles is killing me with how much he just cannot stop loving on Ames. Another great reason to keep Ames breathing monitored! ;)
So for all the special needs mamas who follow and ask for advice, all the new moms, all the NICU moms and just every other mom in between.
